I can see why partyjungle chose to try that as some clues are guessed immediately so naturally you want something to make people think. However, if you basically have to tell people what the thinking behind your clue is then that probably defeats the purpose. I think what could kill the thread is posters guessing correctly but then not posting a new clue. Maybe we could say if no new clue is posted within 24 hours then it's open to anyone to post a clue?

I'm all for tougher clues, I've posted a few tough ones myself but I think that was a little too far.

We should definitely have a 24 hour limit for a poster who successfully guessed the correct band to post a new clue. I think its kind of an unwritten rule here at this stage anyway.

I was literally coming on here to ask for feedback about that one. No offense taken. I was afraid that my clues might be verging on "guess what I'm thinking" which is silly.
