Everyone going on about the Fran scene...basically take right from the Sopranos, only a bit more graphic. Although if you have ever watched Oz, you might understand why I wasn't overly shocked about this scene.3. Everyone saying it has to end, its over blah blah, this was exactly the same thing that was said when Darren died, I'm fairly sure they can come up with other stories.

I'm assuming he bled to death, either way, he's not getting out of jail for at least 10 years. I know people will criticise tonight's episode and I understand why. But f**k me, it had me glued to the TV and fully entertained tonight and throughout the series. That's the job of the show. It's entertainment, not a documentary. Hats off to all involved in Love/Hate. I presume that this is the end and it's been absolutely fantastic.

RoryMac wrote: » The big difference between this and Darren being killed off is Darren was just one of the main characters and still left Nidge & Fran to carry the show. But now Nidge & Fran are gone(dead & locked up for 10+ years) there is noone to take over. There are no storylines to carry over. To continue they would have to introduce a whole new main cast, backgrounds & storylines and at that stage it ceases to be the same show
