Surely he would have played advantage though? Why does Hart get to take the kickout again if he's the one who screwed up.

It's a technical foul. You can't play advantage.

Its an illegal restart, game can't proceed under those circumstances.
Same with a foul throw or a kickoff that goes backwards, no advantage playable.

Fair enough, I still didn't think he'd get away with a re-take. If you commit a foul throw you don't get a second chance.

If a team foul throws, they don't get a chance to re-take it. Hart fouled on the free kick, and the ref allowed him to retake it - explain how that is "legal"

It probably should have been an indirect free to QPR but Dean was correct in disallowing the goal. He cannot play advantage in that situation.

I would have assumed it was an indirect free kick from inside the box for QPR

If you take a kickoff and play it backwards you get to retake the kickoff again, if you take a corner from outside the quadrant you get to retake it again even if goes straight to the opposition. Theres two examples to beat your one.

He just had 3 hit past him in about 10 minutes as well. Even though 2 were disallowed , he wasn't to know they would be.

The rules are clearly different depending on the situation - like for example the throw in, isn't retaking - i'm sure the panel will clear it up at half time.

I remember a few years back henry and piers tried to do a smart penalty - and it didn't work out (they messed it up) - had piers taken a second touch on the penalty - i seriously doubt the ref would have let him retake the penalty.

Not to confident about Aguero as captain, it's actually the second week in a row i've gone against my original thought (sanchez) and followed the crowd.

Austin is looking like a good replacement for Pelle. Trouble is players at that price point tend to go through purple patches and Austin is having his at the moment.
