Just bought BF4 and the upgrade there.

Regarding the file size of the upgrade:

"it will download 6 gigs first so u can play the campaign only. the rest gets downloaded and installed separate. almost 2 hours for me and the campaign is ready but only 31% of the full game."

Havent had any real disruption since i bought the ps4...nothig..ither thsn the scheduled maintenance.. Even the update took a minute or 2 at max..

Really weird seeing people have so many issues...or maybe since i came from the ps3 im just finding no real change?..

They really, really need to improve the network, it's comically bad.

I don't play that much online but I find it very annoying. Hardcore online players must have their heads wrecked with it.

Just pulled down the latest update there as normal, fast, no issues.

PSN is an absolute joke of a service. Have they released any details on why it's so bad? I mean like being targeted constantly by hackers or just the flow of heavy traffic or something like that?

I am new to Playstation PS4 but so far I only play single player. I do like multiplayer but it is beyond ridiculous how bad PSN is. I mean it is even difficult to buy something online. It seems to be down so often, that it feels like it's down all the time. Since I do not pay for PS+ and try to buy games on blueray instead of digitally (for now anyway) I don't mind so much, but if I paid for this crappy service I would be writing few emails a day to sony asking for refund.

I got a load of error codes up when trying to connect to the Network or install YouTube. Had to actually power down the ps4 before it'd tell me the server was undergoing maintenance. Ffs Sony
