Minors at home V Limerick in hurling.
U21 home v Waterford , winners play Clare.
With home/away we seem to have good draws.

TTM... I agree Pa has the talent but hope he can drive on to great things. He is still a lot better than some currently on Cork panel. A natural but wouldn't use the word great yet. ( Ben, Deane, Corcoran etc were great)

Some good and bad draws in minor and u21

Minor football ,the cookie will crumble,cork wont be,as lucky next year in yes will.beat limerick handy but we havent hope with current manager beating kerry in semi in kerry so no croke park next year

Minor hurling awful draw,limerick ist round home,but win it likely meet them again in a semi but crucially loose home advantage.

If i was cork.,play ist round,dont win,just try.out lads,will meet waterford then likely as tipp.beat them,wed beat waterford imo

Go down.to limerick we could win but we wont beat them twice ,as they with wallis will learn more in defeat.
Cork must not show their full.hand.
In u21 football brillant draw,ist round easy game,kerry no warm up,we play them in a,semi in cork.

U21 hurling,kenneally is saved by waterford and clare at home so will avoid hammerings
Should they beat waterford,depends on who is their manager,clare be hard to beat,as yes kinnerk and connor are gone but moloney is still there

Overall not great,minor football and hurlers tough draws,but hurling can do.it,good management ,but minor football imo doesnt and has no chance beating all ireland champions in kerry.

I was at Limerick Snr final Sunday and to be blunt Na P were very poor and looked like a team who thought they couldn't be beaten.
Kilmallock hurled well but not sure why but I can't see SARS losing to them in Munster c/ship. Might sound crazy but the tight confines of Kilmallock will suits SARS much more than the Kilmallock lads.

Farce of draw stucture at minor

Cork be better loosing to limerick at home ,wont happen,but winning is no use as loosing they would get to an all ireland quater final ,as you got to just get to a munster final

As for the hurling ,minor is just as bad,you beat team ist round could meet them in semi final,should be kept apart to til the final.

Mark my words limerick wont be uo for the ist round game seven last year,they are building,so they will get better benfit in having more games.

Cork must box clever ,yes no one wants to loose games but if the system fails you ,you have no choice but to pick and choose games no point peaking for april being out in july.

Agree sars snappy hurling is well suited to take on kilmallock in their own place, but would still think kilmallock can get the win.

Colm o neill suffered a,shoulder injury in that ,hybrid of an aussie rules game training,could be out for a while at least ,if the injury is as bad as feared

A player,man i have huge time for,if it is a bad as feared i wish him the best in hes recovery.Awful news ,i feel for him.I hope its not that bad ,and turns out to be just a,scare.

Another promising young hurler suffered bad injiry recently but wasnt as bad as initially feared.

Sars beaten by eirns own league semi final, i said it eirns own had a chance,sars had no intensity i would think in that game.

Blackrock have golden chance win it now,nice money you win it for the club,certainly not to be,sneezed at.
Good for cork sars are out of it.
Colm.o.neill loss is huge for cork.

Yeah I have no idea why anyone would put C'Martyr as over-whelming favourites on Saturday.

Yes we have a lot of experience at junior level...but Hassig have a lot of experience at intermediate/senior level, which I'm inclined to think counts for a lot more. They have a much bigger pick than we do, are able to field 3-4 teams at adult level (to their credit) while we can barely put on a second team. They have been much more successful at an underage level than we have been, and have consistently played at a higher level underage.

Moreover its a 15-20 man game. Yes we have the Lawtons and O'Tuama but we also have a bare squad, have lost a number of important players since last year, and now have 3-4 19 year olds starting or close to starting that have almost no experience playing at a county level. In contrast the Hassig squad has lads experienced at Premier Inter/Senior level and they have the likes of Dineen and Aherne, who was one of the best center-backs in the county for years. In general their team is used to playing at a much higher level of hurling. We've been playing almost non stop over the past 7 weeks, close to every weekend, while Ballinhassig have had a nice break and showed much better form in the semis, hammering the team that knocked us out last year.

All in all the smart money is most definitely on Ballinhassig.

Cian Kiely is a Cork Minor. Ballincollig, Newtown and Sars are clubs building on massive success underage. Two of them are two of the biggest clubs pickwise in Cork. None are in anyway comparable to C'Martyr. Na Piarsigh pick from half of Limerick city ffs. The rest of the post is just rambling and insults.

Just look at the formlines - C'Martyr stumbled past Newcestown/Cloughduv, Ballinhassig hammered the team that knocked out C'Martyr last year. Anyway that went to both semis will tell you who the favourite is. Yet again, smart money is only going one way.

The point you clearly twist is 19 or younger have played in senior county finals,or younger senior,not junior,so your lament that ye have 19 year olds in a junior yes junior final could go against ye doesnt hold up as viable excuse to loose

Great news for Cork in u21 hurling,it was known for a while kenneally had taken a bit of a unhappy view in and i posted two weeks ago there could be a,change in the,set up,i didnt say it here as with ccb always poosibilty u turn to keep him there

Basically like i said horse pat was,groomed for senior job and wasnt happy that jbm who had left,was persuaded,to stay,he,did,pat wasnt happy at all at all,he wanted it.

He walked then.Once hes not pulled in to senior set up now but i couldnt imagine it
To be honest great day for cork hurling and lets pray to jesus for the ist time in six years we get lad who knows what hes doing.
