For an E60, the key was 188 euro in Barry Motors Galway.
Autokey wanted 220

Easy to code to the car yourself.

It'd be a diamond style key for an E39, mine only came with on remote key and another for the locks/ignition only.

I got a key from bmw for 165 dead. They were the cheapest by far man

Edit: Mine is the old diamond type also, think they kept them for a while for the e60.

Ordered some new bulbs for the Panda from powerbulbs.com - Philips Xtremevision headlight and Silvervision Indicator. Should be a lot better than the stock ones.

Mythbusters did a segment on that driving style. It does improve your MPG quite a bit but it's incredibly dangerous. No vision and no reaction time.

A few of those cranes tow a van behind them on a "A bar" so they can leave the crane on site and drive the van home

Transferred the insurance to the 166 this morning. Only €265 more than the Primera. I would consider that fairly good

I love my 166. That's all I have to say about it

In other news, we (as in my family) have been plagued with mechanical issues recently. First it was the clutch master cylinder on the Punto, then the power steering pump on the 166, then today the CLK wouldn't start… 5l of petrol sorted it out though :pac::o. That means that I officially won the red light game. I was the last to drive it and it was running fine when I got it home :pac:

These problems came up all together after not having one problem with any of the cars since the clutch went on my Levin back in March. All 7 cars that are on the road had no problems in that time until now. Funny how things come in groups like that.
