Not much info about this yet but achievements were announced and like every single other year, it is a complete copy and paste. Questioning whether they are even real as KD said he was working on a secret project for the game. I thought it might be a KD mode but no trophies showing this could mean no such mode or fake cheevo's.

Sound man didn't know about the park gear, got me a nice green white and orange hoodie to replace my irish vest. Had my first jordan rec game. Only 2 brown shirts but the big problem was 6 guys were in black, 2 on Opposing teams had the same heat hoodie. Rec should force you to use your psrk team gear.

Game froze during 2nd quarter and closed the game back to xmb. Was mayhem anyway gonna stick to regular park for a while.

I've had so many crashes today.

It's making it unplayable.

Cost me a good 500 coins too as both games it went we'd a healthy lead.

My only 5v5 crashed aswell but nobody was coloured up properly. So it wasn't enjoyable anyway.

Its worse when you see these goons in wearing blue and they're from Sunset Beach(etc).... how stupid are some people... you're just likely to avoid passing it to them anyway.

Enjoying this so far. Does anybody know if you can skip games in MyCareer? It's a little annoying that you can't bump it down from 6 mins per quarter. If you have to play every game, at 24 mins per game, the 82 game season + playoffs becomes a real slog.

I like the idea of choosing where you try out for your first 10 day contract at your choice of club. The key to me is playing for a franchise I like, rather than someone I've zero interest in.

Yupp when you go to next game you have the choice of skipping it but get no vc. You can only skip games outside your 10 day contract and playoff games. Im in mid march and starting to skip games that will give me base vc of 125 and less. Way too many games. Hoping to move to the bulls in my 2nd season and replace rose so gotta get my rating up!

FFS!! Just loaded the game and my player has been replaced with a black guy with all different accessories, just has the same stats. Took me ages to do that face scan and have to give the ps4 camera back wednesday. Will have to do another scan. 2k make way too much money to release a yearly title with this many problems.

Not sure is it a PS4 bug but you can alter the game time in the pre game options on XB1.
I changed it loads of times.
Also you sim games from the calender.
I too started skipping the 150ish salary games when I began to start and then the next tier at the end of the season.

The grass certainly isnt greener with a good team though.
I got one of my choices-Bulls.
I'm a SG.
Played two and just like Denver we're routinely hammered.
Played 2, lost 2.
players still miss open shots, constantly give up uncontested lay ups and second chance points.

In the last game Rose was 5-17 I think while KD had 23 at HT in an 8min quarter game.

AI misses nothing.
Was hoping it was only an open season thing since a lot of the cut scenes were about losses first season.
But it seems to be still happening... Fairly annoying when it feels so scripted.

At least the VC returns arent related to stats alone like before where you needed to stat well to get a decent return.

One annoying thing and it seems there for years.
When KD went off as others have, why can't your team call double like what happens to your guy when he scores well.
All you can seem to do is call for help on your guy... If you leave him you'll get an assignment negative.
They should have put doubles in there where you're not involved or you're called and free to leave your man.

Jez **** these sliders in Career.

Honestly getting completely fed up of it already.

4 games with Chicago.... lost all of them by 10+.

My player CONSISTENTLY misses lay ups.

I just saved a clip to illustrate.... I drive by Harden into the paint, there's two bodies there but they more or less don't even contest the shot with me and he blows the lay up... multiply that by just about every drive into the paint.

Granted he's only a 70 overall(driving lay up 74) but it's too hard to get open jump shots(he misses a heap and goes cold far too often in that regard as well) and I'm not being rewarded for my drives.
Best hope is that I'm fouled as if there isn't a foul it's a miss.

You'll even miss those where you drive in, fake, catch the defender jumping and then go for the standing lay up..... I've seen my guy miss countless amounts of them under no pressure.

I beat my man and ANY sort of contact and he misses while every opposition AI player is scoring ridicules shots under pressure.

When my man beats me there is ZERO rotation while the AI are constantly rotating on my drives.

It's not really a game issue that's my gripe.
It's how unrealistic the games are playing out.
AI are scoring at an unrealistic pace while we won't score unless I contribute in some way(setting a pick, driving and kicking etc) the only real way we seem to be able to get AI misses is it I try leave my man and contest the shot with my team mate or I guard my man well for the shot.

I have it set to Superstar(really shouldnt make a difference for my team mates)..... game was set to Simulation though it has reset and I played a few on default and I haven't noticed any difference either way.

Anyone else finding it similar?.

Yupp exact same man, as PG, I get around my man and instantly have another defender in my face (good defense). Then at the the other end, their PG gets by me as my PG rated 69 (who has the lateral movement and reaction time of a crippled snail) my teammates glue themselves to their man, I'm guessing they don't want to get a bad grade for leaving their assignment :rolleyes:

I just try to remember last year, once I got my guy to rating of 90 and team chemistry to 90, we were all beasting, I was knocking down shots from anywhere and so were my team. I can only hope it will get better.

As for My Player being replaced by a different guy, other people reporting the same thing today. I'm not gonna do face scan again, took way too long to get right.

I know we're not rated high but what exactly are we supposed to do, not drive at all or shoot.

In previous games you wouldn't exactly be clipping the lay ups in time after time but it wasn't near as bad.... also if you caught people with the pump fake and then did a standing lay up you'd score..... my guy misses those I'd say 50% of the time from a position where you've had a good fake and are open.

We've played 5 and won 1, that was a simulated game.
I can take not stating well, but getting fed up of the games being over as a contest in the first quarter.

It feels as though it's purposeful and there's some career cut scene coming that'll ignite the team from their lows or something similar.
Most of the post game cut scenes have been related to losses which seems to point to scripting.

When I scored my highest points total(near 30 from prob 12) we were winning by 1, Korver had the ball outside the 3 line and I bodied him up, he continued to hold past 4 seconds so it was just a case of hold LT and auto contest for the win.
He sunk the contested 3 and they won.

After in the cut scene it was pointed out how I scored a career high yet we still lost and winning was whats important not numbers.... it's like we were supposed to lose that game.

I'll give it another while to change but it's highly unenjoyable at present.
I'll keep an eye on Smooves vids as well and see is he consistently losing... the few I glanced over it seemed to be the case.

Yeah was gonna say in Smoove's latest vid, even he's complaining about missing open layups and same thing happens, I'll be leading the team to victory, I'll get subbed out, back in 4th to be down 15 points. It's funny and infuriating at the same time to see my team do things you wouldn't see in an under 12's game never mind an NBA game. Checking gamefaqs and operations sports, there's multiple threads of people complaining about the exact same thing we are so we're not alone. 2K need a serious patch to fix this but TBH I don't think we'll see too much change. I'd concentrate on My park but my rep keeps going down every match, taking ages to upgrade and grinding doesn't help when you are playing with absolute toolbags.

Not sure is it a glitch but I haven't noticed my guy lose rep in the park.

If he's losing anything it's unnoticeable.
I was even on another torrid losing run yesterday and didn't see it drop below Rookie 3 or anywhere less than it was from the last win.

I just turned on the laptop there to check a few forums.
We lost again there by I'd say 12 to Toronto.

I only shot 12 times and scored 7(should have scored another 2/3 open lay ups too) so I didn't shoot us out of it or tint the end game stats as I have in other games where we were 10+ down so I'd just try to score and keep missing.
Rose had like 3-13 or so, and most of the others 2-4 or similar.

I honestly can't remember the last time my team won a game.
We've lost 5 at the Bulls and defo lost the last 5/6 with the Nuggets against the 350 salary teams.

I'd nearly guess we didn't win a game I've played high minutes.

Well in My Park, after each game, the rep bar is blank and shoots up depending on how well I did. Currently on Rookie 2 with 9 games played (5 win - 4 loss). My progress bar is about 1/10 full. After a game, the progress bar might move to 70%. Then the next game, it's blank again and might move up to 50%, very weird, and like so many other features in this game, very annoying.

Well my story in My Career so far.
My player is a SG and selected the Bucks as my team to start as noted they didn't have any backup in my position and requirements to be offered contract were the lowest (D+ i think).
Haven't skipped any games yet and made starter replacing OJ Mayo after about 10 - 15 games or so.

For the first 25 games or so I was missing 75 - 80 % of layups but as stats have increased through upgrades, I'm up to probably only missing about 30 % now.
When I started off Bucks were 2nd from bottom of the eastern conference but squeezed into the last playoff spot in the final game of the season last night - went on a run of 10 wins in a row.

Team chemistry currently @98% and the overall team play and shooting rates of the team significantly increased once it went past about 80%.

Three pointers I've noticed have only really a chance of success in the first half, awful success rate in the second half - it might be AI closing down more later in the game or it could be down to player fatigue.

I had a couple of in game crashes on Sunday but otherwise its been very stable for me on the xbox one (I gave up on face scan after multiple epic fails).

Only minor thing thats annoying me at the moment is the in game leaderboards and stats are not displayed when the commentators are discussing them e.g. the top SG's in the last 10 games, current team positions in the conference, leader in blocks/ steals etc.
Are they displaying for anyone?

Finally able to play this and see the damage done. All my settings, camera etc different, i have all different clothes and worst of all im with the rough riders instead of ballers. Had to abandon them to get back to my ballers losing all my progress. 2K how the f*ck could you give me someone elses save file!!!! Ye release this game every year and every year ye cant manage yer online network. Heres a tip next year leave the single player aspect offline.

What difficulty are you playing?.

I've not been below All Star and the problems in relation to AI dominance seems to be more people playing as guards on AS or SS difficulty.

I just gave up on it earlier, we're nearly out of the play off picture by the 10th game.
Was something like 2-8, had my first win in a long time against some lower end team before returning to losing ways against the Spurs.

Just the same thing over and over with different opponents.

From reading elsewhere people playing as Forwards seemed to have less probs and it would cut down on the illegal screen turnovers, lack of rotation and missed put backs/offensive boards given up coupled with the easy cuts the guards get off you numerous times a game.

I switched to a PF and in my first game off the bench got a double double though we were blown out.
I may be able to change that more with minutes so I'll see how it goes this time and use most of the VC on my Guard.

I've certainly been able to dominate in the park as a PF.

I played 6/7 games this evening and we won every game.

My early record was like 14-4 and then before switching to the PF it was 26-30.... what a torrid run that was and it included 5/6/7 game loss streaks.
So going 100% as a PF was a nice change.

Can dominate weak players on the boards and make up for noobs taking bad shots.

One game I had 6 points and 6 boards with 5 offensive when it was 7-4..... I was literally able to carry two bad players and win compared to needing 2 good team mates as my SG.

I put the difficulty down to Pro and won the last 5 games. All have been close but it's nice to be winning. I have 5 games left til playoff and we are 2nd bottom of the Eastern Conference so no chance of playoff. The last 5 games, I've had no illegal screens (I'm waiting longer for ai to get in place before moving), my teammates are making shots after I give the assist, my coach is happy and I'm actually enjoying the game. Just looking to get the last few games done and see what offer I get for the 2nd season. Currently rated 71, Teammate grade is 82 and coach satisfaction is 80.

I definitely agree with you on My Park. As a 6'2 PG, I find that if I'm playing against anyone over 6'8, they can just dunk and grab boards at will, no stopping them. I'd love a bit of height but at the same time I find it fairly easy to iso past people. I just wish fellas would STOP trying to shoot right under the basket after a rebound when 3 guys are jumping like mad to stop him, it will never go in.

The illegal screens I mentioned didn't involve me as I was playing SG.
It would happen to the AI too but more so for our guys and at crucial times: last possession of a 1/4.

AI scripting aside theres problems with the game.

Second game as a PF, I'm going to bed but accidently started so I continue then save.
Loaded today and instead of coming in at that time I had to skip again before coming in at the end of the first, played into the second and then only the last 24secs of the 4th.

Down 7 and the team doesnt foul so they just held and won.

So two obvious issues there... Game time(i think I was getting 2/3mins a quarter in my other game) and the lack of intentional fouling with time and a small deficit.

I've also noticed flaws with teams not holding for the last shot and full court press disappearing after your first play in on a late deficit.

I've read of people never getting a sub rest and having to play tired but that only happened my SG once.

Yeah, game has a TON if issues, Only noticed what Talla said above about commentators taking a break to look at how teams are doing and stats but nothing shows up on screen. I never really care about them anyway but things like a replay camera swinging up and then just showing the middle of the court, my guy throwing a bounce pass when I wanted it to be a chest pass (most cases ending in turnover). Could list stuff all day. I think 2K seriously need to take next year off and work an a complete and working game for NBA 2K17.

Career wise, Nike and Jordan shoe deal has been mentioned so will be interesting to see what happens there and a blast from the past showed up.

Also, you can smack talk other players using the social media tool and even ask guys to form the 'big 3'. Only found that feature a while ago.

Finished up my 1st season last night, didn't make the playoffs. Got a triple double against the knicks and we still lost by 10 in one of my last games so was looking forward to leaving the magic on the dust.

Offseason was good, had to choose 3 teams i was interested in, picked the Bulls as that's where i want to end up and would be ok playing 6th man but they were 2nd bottom team interested in me. The Heat were 2nd highest tho. Bunch of fellas begging me to play with them and then i got the offers from my agent. You can nearly go with any team, just different contact worth. I signed with the bulls for 2.3 mil. Heat were offering a lot more and probably a better choice but whatever.

I didn't play with them yet but checked the minutes and it shows me starting with Rose as 6th man, mental

I'm playing with the Magic too. I know our team rating is quite low (in the 60s) and my player rating is low (67), and the roster isn't very good but Christ, we are shocking.

I've been getting beat out the gate by a lot of teams. We were 16-0 down against the Heat by the time I came off the bench in one game.

No real hope of making the playoffs, but at least I'm a starter, only a few games after signing the contract to the end of the season.

Enjoying it so far, but it's a bit annoying that in games when we are 10+ points up in, in the third, I get subbed on in the 4th with 2 mins to go and we're 10+ points down.

I'm not sure if 2K meant it to be this way so you wouldn't be winning Finals MVP in your Rookie half season or if they just got the AI messed up. They have submitted a patch to sony/ms yesterday to fix 'My Park disconnection (among other issues)' Doubt My Career AI will get fixed in that.

I had my team chemistry at 83, my rating 73 and my teammates are making a lot of shots now but the only way to stop the CPU is if I get a steal, block or forced bad shot. If I leave it up to my team, the CPU will get a sure basket.

To be honest, I would say that that is intended. In my first season on 2K14 with Portland I was top of the west and won the finals, being the MVP too. I'd say this season they wanted to add an extra dimension to it. Even when our team chemistry was low, we were still pretty much dominating. I enjoyed it, but it wasn't close to the reality for a rookie.

I like that 2k15 is more of a struggle. In reality, the Magic are not a good team, so our position and the blowouts makes sense.

I presume and hope, that with a better ranked team, and a higher team chemistry that my teammates will start making some shots.

Just lost a load of my upgrades on the PF.

Back to 64(from near 70 if not)... 3 of the 6 slots have reverted to 0 and my inside scoring and athlete are defo down a notch or two.
I'm left with a grand total of 7 upgrades when I probably had about 16

Logged in and out and no change so it's gone.

That took a fair few 1000 to get them to their mediocre levels.

Probably down about 20k.... what a joke.

Loaded against the Pacers and George plays the role Harden plays in the SG career.... talking to him in the tunnel you could hear PG and Harder both reading the exact same lines together

Its bloody torture given my low level. Wouldn't hurt as much if it was comparative from 80+.

Not a great way to encourage purchasing VC if thats likely.

It wasn't as if I plowed it all in during one session and the servers were dodge in that period.

Needed a serious run of wins to sneak the 8th by winning the last few games.

Once we'd a nice lead in the last game I fouled out to see do you forfeit VC and you don't so im farming it on my SG profile so playing HOF on big salary games.. Play for 5mins, try score a few then foul out.

I had some 3 point challenge after the last game which seemed to offer,VC... Prob is my PF doesnt even have a mid range.. Got 0 VC.

Stupidly bought VC and didnt get it. Oh joys. Have to say bought KD's shooting stroke and although I'm . only 77 ( I think) im dropping 3's like there is no tomorrow. Just need to get used to finding the sweet spot.
