So I've succumed to the idea of a training log

It will not be filled with perfectly structured training, or perfectly executed races, well, not to begin with anyway. As the title suggests, my running to date is more or less based on regular running. "Sessions" have been few and far between, and I still struggle to maintain a desired pace without fluctuation.
I hope by starting this log, I will at least put more thought into my running. I'd also like to look at some flexibility/strength/weight loss work, but this will have to be a gradual/long term, I don't want to try to do everything overnight as I know I'd soon get fed up and look at it as a chore.
So, to me.. Started running back in June 2012 after giving up the smokes. For years I struggled to pack them in, but something was different with the last attempt. I think it was the first time I was truly ready to pack them in. Happy days since and no desire to have a smoke now at all thank God.
Rapidly heading towards the O40 category now, but sure thats just a number

Ran DCM last year as a novice under the excellent guidance of Career_Move and the 2013 novices. What a great journey that was... Memories

And progressed with the 2013 graduates thread under the crosshairs of SamforMayo

A lot of support on that thread from SfM,Bulmers,Ososlo,SeanPuddin and Co, great camaraderie altogether

OH and just to let you know, this log with also be like a diary. As some of ye may know I can ramble on a bit at times
NOTE: I'll also be very greatful of any advice, be it public on here or via PM. Good or bad, sometimes I need to hear what I know from someone else before it sinks in
