He took over Tipp U-21 footballers this year and his stated goal was to defeat Kerry or Cork in the final. He had them in great nick in fairness, but Cork just shaded the final deservedly. He's a Waterford man originally, only came to Tralee to work. The only club side he ever got involved with was Crokes and that was for 1 year only, so like I said I think Leen is talking through his ar5e..again. Possibly trying to discourage the move or whatever. I don't know if it'll happen or not, but he certainly would bring something to the table and he's not a man for half-measures..everything is based on performing at speed. No skin off my nose, but I think he'd be a god aquisition.

Yes charville have ten of the intermedaite panel, but this is a good newtown team, well coached. I do agree charville were treated poorly, newtown got cancellation before, hear charville appealing it. Im sorry now but what you said is rubbish proven by fact imo

Either way s&c is an area where cork seem ok to me, its coaching, a brain on the line and some fella able to respect the playersthat is needed.Does Flanagan do any actual football coaching or is he just into the fitnesss side of things?

Flanagan is an outstanding s&c man and specialist in speed development, but he is more than just a trainer and has done some fine coaching work also. He was running football coaching workshops in Dublin going back 10 years which have got huge praise from a few people up there. Then again John Evans got similar praise and I don't have huge time for him as a coach..
