I visited a cat cafe twice last year while in Tokyo on holiday. It was very cute, they had really interesting breeds of cats there etc.

I think the one in London has rescue cats and I think the one planned for NYC will be the same.

I don't think it will work here, there aren't enough locals who will be willing to spend the money to keep it ticking over and I don't think there would be enough tourist interest to make a profit for the place.
