Following on from the trivial things that annoy you, I hope we can start a thread on trivial things that make you happy.

I love pushing the button for the lift and the doors open right away.

Being able to walk straight down an escalator or up it without people standing in the way.

Being bale to sail down the driving lane and use the passing lane without lane-hoggers or slow drivers.

A good thread on boards.ie

when the bus is there as soon as i arrive at the bus stop or train as soon as I arrive at the platform.

when the parking spot that I usually park in in the local shopping centre is free.

My OH being a donkey makes me happy. He's been asleep hours and I've been awake hours. He says random stuff in his sleep too but tonight he rubbed my head and was like "you're in a safe place now" haha. Creepy for sure, but cute. It's cheered me up no end.

having spent the last 6.5 years driving to Dublin for work on Monday every Sunday evening, I've finally managed to relocate to Cork - first Sunday since March 2008 of doing NOTHING on a Sunday - didn't get out of the bed till 9am! major lie in!

Going into dunnes and finding that lenor have brought out a new product that make your clothes extra smelly in the wash. I bought the pink one, and have had a burst of energy to do laundry so I am rewashing the towels and bed sheets and not only do they smell nice, the whole house just smells like clean fluffy clothes!

I'm in my pjs and I'm off tomorrow, I have my duvet on the couch and the oh will be home from the gym soon, so it'll be a couch and cuddle night. Love life this evening
