Always love viewing photos about golf courses etc., maybe we could have a thread with just images? Maybe not?

Ahh Moate clubhouse, place in my heart and not just as an ex member. It was one of the first jobs I worked on from design, planning and supervision of construction in the company I work for!! I remember doing detail drawings back in 1996 for it!!

I once won a monthly medal in 2011 and the prize was an engraved silver medal/medallion about 3" in diameter. Nice little token to mark the occasion but at the time was expecting something a little more significant.

I'm not sure the norm at all. I wasn't expecting it to be that big at all. Can eat a small steak and chips off it.

Yeah, very links at times with the pot bunkers and hard fairways with fescue and whispy rough. Just a great course, shame the sun didn't come out until I was in the car on the way home

Some shots I snapped at this year's Captain's Prize at Woodstock Golf Club Ennis.

The 1st ... intimidating opening tee shot [index 3] ... not for the 'just-jumped-out-of-the-car' golfer!

Par 3 4th ... about 190y off the whites.

A wood through the wood ... 5th ... par 5

7th .... index 1 par 4 ... over water, then over more water.

8th ... par 3 index 7 185yds ... a dry ball is a good ball.

Approach to par 5 ninth.
