Some things never change. Some for the better, but in my case it's always for the worse.

Lets hark back to 2012. Nobody remembers this, nope thought not. Who would want to!

Navan. A town where the buildings, infrastructure and technology progress well, but the same miserable depressing backward hicks mostly inhabit this town still prevail. Usually giving out about the dubs/ethnic minority/dole/legball/insert any minuscule insignificant event that wouldn't affect you in any way whatsoever, and they'll moan about it.

Not necessarily related, but I was out and about on Saturday night in Navan for the first time in well over a year. It was a friend of mine who was having a small get together as he was leaving to start a new career (and I wished him all the very best, from the bottom of my heart). As per usual, things never changed. The same tallentless tarts with slapped arse faces dressed the same, the young bucko's being bucko's ("heyor biiiiys, lets rub nipples and call everyone gaaaaaaaay"), the hard as nails saps that flinch at the slightest movement etc etc etc. **** I used to see out and about 6 years ago.... Haven't changed. Same miserable people. My age. Imagine what the older generation are like :eek: Afterwards in out of pockets, stuffing my face with cheese chips and bacon, the dog ignorant stereotypical Naaaaaavan boyos and their young ones (probably cousins) having a conversation where every second word was "AH HEYOR", shouting at some poor sod "Ahhhhhh *insert name heyor then put -ey at the end* lok (yes, lok) at teh gimps head on ya, ya biiiig faaaaaaa*ot ya" and of course, complaining about everything in reaching distance :rolleyes:

But back to today. It's typical Navan weather. Miserable rain covering the miserable people walking through miserable roadworks to buy miserable groceries so they can watch miserable television and have a miserable argument over miserable insignificant things.... Sound familiar? But, of course, the miserable car park. Why park in the much nearer Tesco car park or even go round to the other side of this car park to park in the rest of the multi storey car park (8 more levels to choose from) when you can park in this dark, damp, piss smelling ground floor car park instead. Maybe they want to get soaked in the rain, jam their trolley into the ground, and yell angrily at cars so they have something to give out about... I must apologize for the picture quality in advance...

But wait, you want another picture, of course no one doesn't!! So back I returned several uncounted minutes later

I really, really can't understand the attraction to that utter hovel of a car park. Then again, I can't understand why people are so miserable in the first place! Or why they must infect other people with their misery, who just want them to f*ck off and talk to that dog pissing instead.

Also, my heart goes out to this poor sod

Who has to wander this kip while waiting for the tyre to be fixed (why isn't the local tyre fitter half a km down the road with them, they were anything but busy when I went by....)

Someone take me away from that town before I have another nervous breakdown.

Same can be said about here, which ironically enough on fathers day its the most confusing day for young wans who are 16-21 years for less than obvious reasons

In slightly more amusing news, my brother thinks my room is a "haven" partly because he had a root through all the boxes of car parts im currently storing in there, now if i can get my engine back......

This 'perfect car for a girl' crap drives me tapped. So the Ka is perfect for a girl even if she's got a 40km round commute and a 200km trip home every couple of weeks. The only thing that matters outside of budget when selecting a car is usage and personal taste/ preference. Genitalia should have nothing to do with it.
