Am not sure if I am missing something, but need to turn it on/off at the start/end of each journey and disconnect the GPS aerial ( is not built in ) when removing it from the mount might mean it ends up in the 'gadget drawer' sooner rather than later!! Some lunatic was tailgating me for a few miles one day, trying to overtake on a busy narrow, winding road, did my best to let him by but the road was very busy and didn't have many straight stretches or a hard shoulder. Finally he did take me over and then he slammed on his brakes causing me to hit him. Cops called, I said nothing about the camera. Him out of his car barking at me in his language. Me staying put. Cops came, showed the video to them and the look on yer man's face was priceless. Insurance paid out no bother, cop signed the documents right there.
