Theres a reason its that cheap. The place is awful! Also, I wouldnt choose it for a beers, especially not on halloween, the place will be absolutely packed, no chance of having a chat etc. Which kind of defeats the purpose of a beers

Agreed it does attract a big crowd with the prices and wouldn't be suitable for these sort of beers.

I've been to loads of boards beers there and they've always been the best nights. If you get the seating area between the toilets and the smoking area you're sorted. The music isn't as loud there and most people are either in the main part or out in the smoking area, people don't generally tend to randomly stand around that area unless they're with a group who's sitting there.
