I gave the car a good cleaning for fermoy and ended up not going

gave the seats a good dose of Gliptone, hard to believe there are 172k on these seats.

Its in need of a good wash and DA, but this is how my car is now and for at least the next 3 months until I have money again. Things left to do are: fit new steering wheel(I will do it next week), new rear bumper, Series 2 LED tail lights, lower profile tyres, fit front fog lights, and 2 nice dark coloured seats for the front.

The F/TF use the weird old Triumph 4x95.25 PCD so they don't fit much else apart from auld Maestros and things unless you use PCD adaptors.

I considered spigot rings for the centre bore but read elsewhere that all they do is centre the wheel initially and that makes sense. And read that the hub takes 99% of the forces and the wheel nuts the remaining 1%.

Might my wheels shear off?

Strongly recommend you to measure PCD correctly to make sure.

Def get the spigot rings, you also wobble nuts (yes, really) to make up the difference in PCD

My Rial daytonas were like a prostitue when it came to the gap in the centre bore, they weighed a tonne and they were fine. PITA to align them though.

VW give a very handy tool in new cars to eliminate that problem.

Assuming for the Corolla....

Personally, once beyond 3mm difference forget wobble bolts and use converters. Even if (and that's a big if) the MG had the bolt holes drilled to take an M14 bolt, it's too much to expect the wheels to bolt on without issues
