Wisdom will likely lose his place once their defenders recover from injuries and gain fitness.

The position may yet go to Bojan but I think I will go with one of the 5.5s so it's pretty much down to those two. That frees up .5 million so Taylor has been upgraded to Pieters. Stoke and Hughes speak for themselves IMO. Good team and a manager I really rate, Monk, on the other hand, I don't rate. Albrighton also taken out for Isgrove. De Gea/Gilks O'Shea, Coloccini, Terry, Pieters, Moore Siggy, Mata, Hazard, Ramsey, Isgrove Sturridge Rooney Fletcher

Went with Begovic due to uncertainty over a couple of the 5million options in the stoke defence Defs Taking a punt on Chambers chances are he will only play the first game but you never know and may catch a CS and price rise from him. Van aanholt and collocini have H/A rotation but due to opening fixtures I may start both some weeks. Dunne Qpr have some decent fixtures in the first 8. Mids Sterling has been excellent pre season so hoping he will get some points against southampton. I will more than likely transfer him out after Gw 1 for either eriksen or lamela. Siggy is on the bench for the first week but will play most weeks. Fwds Jutkiewicz bit of a punt he should start most weeks as burnley usually play 4 4 2/ 4 4 1 1 and have done in pre season. Very low ownership and a goal will see a bandwagon. Will alternate between 3 5 2 and 3 4 3 so he will play the odd week. Decided to go for costa over sturridge based on the first 3 fixtures .
Lemlin wrote: » Very good team for me. No Chelsea defensive cover but you can't have everything. I'm thinking about Fabregas over Hazard myself. Hazard hasn't played much pre season and from watching SSN this morning I see Fabregas got a decent individual goal for Chelsea over the weekend. I'd agree with your tactic re Sterling. He's too highly priced IMO. Do you think will Dunne start enough for QPR?

OneColdHand wrote: » Nice team, but just going to comment on the above. You are essentially picking a player for 1 GW (Sterling) that you know you're going to transfer out for GW2? This doesn't make much sense to me. Transfers are precious. What if someone else gets injured, or doesn't start (Chambers, for example)? Each to their own, obviously, but I would definitely be going with Eriksen/Lamela in this case and saving a transfer (and 0.5m).

average_runner wrote: » Toure played more in the attacking mid three last year as Aguero was injured and was on pens. Same for Ramsey as Arteta and Wilshere played the central role. Hazard will take the pens and set pieces.
Lemlin wrote: » Any City game I saw Toure started in the 2 sitting mids of the 4-2-3-1. That said, like Ramsey at Arsenal, he played the more attacking player of the two whereas the other (usually Fernandinho) would sit back as the holding mid. Toure often also pushed up towards the end of games when Garcia might come off the bench or City were chasing a game. I'd expect Fabregas to take up a similar role. Hazard will take pens but I'd imagine set pieces will be shared. The other factor is that Hazard hasn't played a full 90 minutes in pre season yet I believe. 63 mins has been his max from what I've read.

Uncertainty over Davies means I've changed to Ward, again not a great first fixture for Palace so will probably change to a Stoke defender yet. Changed Debuchy to Evans due to favourable fixtures and van Gaals comments. Sanchez replaced by Ramsey, I just cant ignore him. This and other savings has allowed me to bring in Eriksen. Flavour of the fortnight Bojan replaces Jelavic. Will probably play 3-4-3 for GW1, benching Siggy and seeing how Swansea look from GW2 onwards.

Paully D wrote: » Latest draft and it will stay this way for a few days at least as I've a bit of stuff on. I'd appreciate some feedback if anyone would be kind enough. Concerns regarding Eriksen playing in the hole and Fletcher's role clearing up with the Wickham bid from West Ham this morning in line with George Caulkin of The Times' comments on said bid have moved me away from the 3-5-2 back to a 3-4-3. This allows me to improve Dzeko to Sturridge, who alongside Rooney, provides me with a guaranteed captaincy option every week. I know Albrighton's injured so a replacement will be researched when I get a chance during the week. I only really have two concerns though more may come to light as you lads have a look. 1) I needed to scrape £0.5m together so went with Luis ahead of Terry. I'm not too happy with this. I may consider going with Krul/Elliott instead and that would allow me to get Terry. Newcastle have some nice fixtures during the first part of the season so I wouldn't be averse to going with their keeper. 2) Sigurdsson playing as a wide player. I'm hoping Garry Monk gets some sense and goes back to 4-4-1-1 with Sigurdsson in the hole as if he plays out wide he's not good to us FPL players, even at £6m. The move to 4-4-2 smacks of thinking he was going to lose Bony early in the window and/or now trying to keep Gomis happy who probably joined on the same proviso of Bony leaving and/or being promised games. I think it's quite good other than that, what say you?
