She's actually a lot happier now. Her eyes got so sore she wouldn't eat or anything and wouldn't let the vet treat them. Now she eats loads and enjoys going for walks and stuff again. She's adapted really well in just a couple of months.

It's stupid to compare a human to a dog. Vets just see cash, he made a lot more money by subjecting the poor animal to an operation then putting it to sleep.

I never got why putting dogs down is suggested as soon as anything other than a minor medical issue arises.

Maybe we could start doing it with old people too, would save the country a sh*t load of money!

Glad your dog is doing well and still able to have a decent quality of life - which is the most important thing.
