RobertKK wrote: » All Gaza has to do is get Hamas to agree to a ceasefire and to stop breaking truces and ceasefires. Hamas is the problem. Pro-Palestinian protesters should be out protesting Hamas, which would be supporting Palestinians given Hamas see Jihad and dying for Islam as a sublime belief, as Hamas don't care about Palestinian deaths.

Hamas's charter includes the aspiration that "The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews)". While many concentrate on its death-cult worship, its bloodthirsty killing of adversaries, or its contempt for women, Christians and homosexuals, it is this aspiration for genocide that is at the root of Hamas activities. This is the primary reason why Hamas, the governing regime in Gaza, will never recognise or accept a peace accord with Israel in any form.
about 10% of Hamas rockets fired from Gaza don't reach Israel, exploding in Gaza. Mohammed Sadallah – a four-year-old killed on Saturday, his body displayed in a press conference with Ismail Haniyeh, Hamas's leader – was, according to the Palestinian Centre for Human Rights, most likely killed by an errant Hamas rocket.
Hamas leaders frequently declare that their people actively seek death. Fathi Hamad, a senior member of Hamas, stated in 2008 that "for the Palestinian people, death became an industry, at which women and children excel. Accordingly we created a human shield of women, children and elderly. We seek death as you [Israelis] desire life."

RobertKK wrote: » Yes, Israel cares enough to warn of where they will target, unlike Hamas, who liked blowing up Israelis on buses and restaurants using Palestinian people. Yes I care, that is why I target Hamas who started the conflict and who intentionally brought death to hundreds of Palestinians. Hamas opposes same sex marriage and has contempt for homosexuals, unlike Israel which you oppose. Be careful who you back when making snide comments to previous discussions. Pro-Gaza/anti-Israel is not on the side of homosexuals

However not on the same scale or wide range of demographic as the Palestinian Solidarity marches.. That said, my friend's house mate in Philadelphia who is a lovely guy, extremely liberal (we'd great drunken chats about the greatness of the show West Wing, but that a different story) - however since the Gaza bombings started he has been posting extensive Pro-Israel posts on his FB, and has joined the in with "Stand With Israel" marches. He is not the type of person you would expect to support such a bloodbath any where - was extremely strange and sad to see him support such a thing.. He has been following the line off "Israel just defending itself" and "Just targeting weapons".. Basically my point is that Israel has more supporters than you think, even after these atrocities..

One, printed for a platoon of Israeli snipers depicts an armed Palestinian pregnant women caught in the crosshairs of a rifle, with the disturbing caption in English: "1 shot 2 kills". Another depicts a child carrying a gun also in the centre of a target. "The smaller, the harder," read the words on the t-shirt.
Another shows an Israeli soldier blowing up a mosque and reads "Only God forgives". Above a ninja figure, yet another shirt bears the slogan "Won't chill until I confirm a kill".
Perhaps the most shocking design shows a Palestinian mother weeping next to her dead baby's grave, also in the crosshairs of a rifle. It suggests it would have been better if the child had never been born, with the slogan "Better use Durex".
