Normal age for loosing virginity

I have read a recent report that said that nearly three quarters of Irish college students were sexually active. I don't believe that for a second. Do You??????? I am 19 years old and I am still a virgin. I'm sure that most of my friends are too.

from girls - well at least mine - the "right" person was someone i was feeling comfortable with meaning i trusted him and knew he s not gonna hurt me lol and he was patient and gentle, but the attraction was very strong both ways so ya, i love to have that in my memory : )...

I don't see anything wrong with wanting to share the moment with someone special if that's whats important to you. As long as peoples expectations are realistic, I don't see the harm.

Everybodys different, it's just more meaningful to some than others, neither is more right or wrong than the other.

Personally I don't agree with the above, I wouldn't either encourage or discourage that mindset, everyone's different.

My first time could be regarded as 'special'. It was with my first love and it was the first time for the both of us. It was a great experience, and even though we've both long since broken up and are with different partners, I wouldn't change a thing. It was a great evening and a nice memory to have. The fact that it was the first time for both of us definitely lends some weight to that memory that might not otherwise be there.

I'm 20 now, lost mine at 16, but that was down to sheer drunken madness and most acts since have been down to drunken madness!

I wouldn't worry about it at all if you haven't lost it, plus a tonne of people lie through their teeth. But that said, to my knowledge all of my friends in college have lost theirs, maybe one or two who haven't.

My best friend lost it when we were 15.. Tbh i didn't understand her at that time..but i went with her to clinic for after pill couple of times and remember her state, and my state.. Also she got pregnant and then her father had to take her to abortion, not a pleasant experience for a 17yo.

My other best friend did it at 16, she got pregnant and had a child..
Even her daughter is a gorgeous girl i saw what all she had to go through cause of that, not only cause that immature guy yes of course just walked away...

College is from 18 till 22 usually. Most of my college mates were or had been sexually active. It is the whole of college not just first year so yes. I was 23.

I 'lost' it when i was 20 and considered myself late lol
However i wanted to do it with the right guy - one who id really fancy so no regrets about it, he was great

we r still friends even after we broke up, but i remember how some girls from our circle of friends were very jealous for me being with him, his 'ranking' was really high

Yeah, I'm sure a load of them were at it in school when I was too preoccupied with other things. Tbh it never really bothered me one way or another, I never felt pressurised to lose it. When it happened, I wanted it to happen. I have no regrets about losing it when I did or not losing it before hand, I think it happened at the right time with the right person. :P How cheesy is that?

I don't think there's a right age, it's whenever you are comfortable with it.
