As an Irish person I've always known that temple bar was expensive, but it never really hit home till I seen this picture uploaded on my mates fb page.

No wonder Temple Bar ranks so low on the Huffington Post's review!

That is still very expensive!

It's just like any stereotypical tourist trap type destination.

It's even more dramatic in some continental destinations. Try the price comparison between a tourist café and a normal café in Paris for example.

A coffee and a croissant won't get you much change of €20 in some of them!

Ended up having to pay €16.50 for a small coffee and coke on the champs elysees a few years ago.
