No, never did that, I grew up in Germany.

But I did use to work in factories during school holidays and semester breaks to finance university, and I found that so mindnumbingly boring and repetitive that I would start each day by reading a poem and then spending most of the day trying to remember it.

I would have more than 40, but The Raven took up at least 3 weeks.
