I wonder how much input Rodgers had in the Aspas transfer.

Thankfully he wasn't a huge amount of cash. Still a flop.

Never looked a Liverpool player anytime he got a chance.

Will be remembered for that corner end of the Chelsea game!

Since when were Discos 'back in the day', they're only a blow in! For old school you have to go with Sam Spudz (the first crinkle crips and they had a detective cartoon on the bag) or the original Monster Munch (which had what was meant to be a series of info about Monsters on the pack, but it was *always* 'No. 1 - The Cyclops').

Anyone remember when Starbars were called 'Nunch' or something like that?

To be honest, I feel quite sorry for him. Showed some magical touches and awareness at times, but with the form of the other attackers, he never got the opportunity to adapt to the physicality of the league - his undoubted weak point. Them's the breaks though, and on merit, he didn't get games. We had few enough to play that we could almost always go for more established guys over him. I would have preferred if we had used him on the rare occasions we brought on Moses though.

No that wasn't him. I don't think anyone said we were getting Reus more so that we were trying to get him. Anyone who knows Reus & Dortmund will tell u there is no chance it will happen. They kept Lewandowski for one extra year rather than get 20m for him.
