It's gone now. The sickly car I bought Jan last year that I kept at and at was sold this evening and is now with it's new owner. It never failed to make me laugh and I'll miss it dearly.

I had a feeling this was the case. Chrome arch trims = rust hiding under. Lovely car otherwise. 124's are my favourite Merc.

yes its an auto alright . The wheel arch trims are an intermediate step until cash reserves get better for the front arch respray. Once resprayed they are coming off.

The arches were treated with rust-proofing and waxoyl before the trims were fitted.

I think if I wanted power, I'd just buy an Evo or M3. In saying that, 250hp should be easily sought from a 320d but it's not something I'm really interested in as I've become fond of my license

Thanks man. I love them, now that I'm on the laptop I can see that the camber look is the lack of the spacers.
I love the look of the car at the min but my dream wheels for her would be these

I like them. Understated, like a 5er should be imo.

The M6 alloys are better suited to a more striking car....like an M6 :pac:

Wow ok lads. There is no tracking trouble etc, it's the fact they're sitting so far in is the problem. The line of the arch playing with your eyes. Spacers on tonight should fix that. As for the wheels, i know some of you dont like them but they're on my car and i despised the m6's. Anyone who has seen them in the flesh has loved them.
