Dress attires at football games

I think dressing up at games is a bit of fun and it adds to the whole atmosphere and feel good mood when in a stadium.

I love the Italians dressing as Roman warrior, the Brits have their Knight costumes, the Mexicans have the sombrero, the USA have Captain America costumes and I can think of many others.

We Irish only have the green paddy hats and ginger beards. Is it just me or is this crap? How come we don’t have something as cool as Greek warriors or sexy French cocks Brazilian carnival dancers?

Bit of a throwback to when people could drive home after a feed of pints to a meal slathered in gravy and a timid, terrified wife. I reckon such creatures will be extinct in about 20 years.

I think the best costumes for a match I was at was Bohs v Waterford in Waterford for the EA Sports Cup in 2009. Loads of the Bohs fans dressed up, there was a ridiculous amount of costumes. Including one brave man who wore a mankini.
