Dress attires at football games

I think dressing up at games is a bit of fun and it adds to the whole atmosphere and feel good mood when in a stadium.

I love the Italians dressing as Roman warrior, the Brits have their Knight costumes, the Mexicans have the sombrero, the USA have Captain America costumes and I can think of many others.

We Irish only have the green paddy hats and ginger beards. Is it just me or is this crap? How come we don’t have something as cool as Greek warriors or sexy French cocks Brazilian carnival dancers?

Not really a look that's exclusive to the Irish at all. If anything, it's probably a more widespread look in the UK.

I lived right beside a LoI ground for a number of years. I know exactly the type of 'characters' who make up a large proportion of the supporters of the Dublin and Louth clubs. Not that there is that many supporters in the first place, but the hack of some of the chancers going through the ticket stalls is enough to stop the more casual supporter from attending.

I've been to a good few games. The reason I don't keep going is because the football is poisonous and the atmosphere rubbish. I've better things to be doing of a Friday evening that sitting in a cold shed with a load of other men watching a load of other men run around a field.
