Wouldn't be too bad for the money, even if it did need a small bit of TLC. Those JTD engines are supposed to be fairly good.

Missed out on a lovely 147 earlier.. The joys of living down the country I suppose...

Punch is a figure of speech in this case.
If you are selling an Alfa only for parts then obviously the only people who would be interested in it are Alfa owners.
Saying in the ad that you will not sell it whole based solely on the idea that they are unreliable then you are seriously limiting your clientele.
The guy sounds like a tosser.

Such a sweeping, generalising statement, it irked me.

Oh well, people like that are why we can get sweet 156s/159s for peanuts.

You'd do well to get him to 600e, they are a lovely cruiser. Wonder what it would need for an NCT though.

I have a 2001 MRS also, I picked it up a few weeks ago for the pricey sum of €700. The bodywork isn't great but its a helluva lot better than this one. And it drives lovely.
