Ahh you're thinking of the way you can get the non-subscription channels Colser, the same channels you'd get without a card, but without a signal you'll get none.

Worst comes to the worst Pumpkin you can hook the laptop up to the tv and download the slingplayer app, and I'll walk you through getting it set up to log into my slingbox I have hooked up to the young lad's sky box (we have multiroom so you won't be interfering with my wife's soap watch :roll eyes:) -

Bloody humidity. I went against my gut instinct and wore shoes without socks today and of course me being me, I walked too far in them. Now I have 6 blisters on my feet. 4 in a row on my right instep and one on each heel, I miss alcohol:(

Last year when we were in Dublin Airport, we were sitting at the departure gate and the flight was due to board at 6pm but it was running late and the ground staff told people we would be boarding at 6.20pm instead.
Do you think people listened?
No.

As soon as the woman had finished speaking, about seven people stood up and started queuing at the stand and they looked ridiculous because the ground staff weren't even paying attention to them.

I was sitting there reading my magazine wondering why these people are in such a rush? We all have allocated seats and the plane isn't going to leave without you.

Then you board the plane and there's always some idiot blocking everyone's way in the aisle as they try to fit their bulky bag in the overhead cabin.

They know full well they're causing a hold-up but they don't care.
They eventually sit down and you make your way to your seat and of course you're secretly hoping there'll be an empty seat beside you 'cos nobody wants to sit next to someone else.

You reach your seat and viola, your seat is slap bang in the middle.

Anyway, I'm ranting now.......Just wish people would cop the fk on and behave properly. We are not animals!!

Exactly. It's announced, for example, rows 15 to 30 to board. You just know people don't listen...when you get on the plane, invariably people have boarded that are not in those rows, and are standing blocking others.
Do they not see it is common sense? Evidently not.
I was on a flight some years ago, when the staff announced anyone needing assistance come up first, they actually sent someone back to wait.

I set my pot of coffee up the night before so all I have to do when I wake up is slap it on the stove. Wake up groggy and put in on the stove, wait for 5 mins, "coffee" brews . I go to pour it into the cup and it's just boiling water. I forgot to add the ground coffee so I have to wait another 5 mins for it to brew.:mad:

Ahh come on now, are you just looking for trivial things to be annoyed about? I think she'd look healthier with a few extra pounds on her, it's just a personal opinion. I'd like to be thinner but not as thin as that. All said and done most women aren't entirely happy with their bodies. Those of us who are overweight want to be thinner and a lot of women who are very thin would like to be more curvacious. It was an observation not a criticism:)

I love going on flights to germany cos the germans all listen to the instructions!

Sometimes the folks in the US take it too far though. We were on an internal US flight to Orlando in April and virtually the entire flight was made up of English/Irish families many with young children and they did the usual "we invite our gold members to board"...cue 3-4 mins of waiting while no-one boards, "we invite our silver and bronze members to board"...cue another 3-4 mins of no-one getting on, "we invite US army servicemen/women in uniform to board"...cue 3-4 mins of no-one getting on. It was probably a minimum of 10 mins before anyone actually got on the plane. I understand they have to follow rules, but it annoyed the ****e out of me anyways

I'm watching the Capital Summertime Ball on CapitalTV and the cameras are in the crowd. The amount of people reacting to seeing their faces on screen is ridiculous. Have you never seen yourself on a screen before?!

Dunnes Stores sell them in three packs!!! :pac: also Double deckers, flakes, of which I have just partaken in a vanilla ice cream cone, crushed the flake all over it, kind of made up for the missing Walnut.
