Its not acceptable to be anti-Catholic. It is acceptable to be against Church control of social, health and education policies in an allegedly modern republic. Catholics can of course observe whatever personal morality they feel appropriate - within reason. All anyone asks is that they extend the same courtesy to everyone else.
