This thread is designed to hopefully relieve some of the "Football tips thread" of posts which are just "I'm on over 2.5 goals" or "here's my acca" for the weekend.

plenty of freedom here to question bets, pick holes in them, give out a few throw away comments, general banter etc.

Bet365's prices drift during the game when there's less time left. PaddyP's are fairly static from kick off to finish.

What an awful game. In retrospect, I should have saw that coming, and expected 19th century football was going to break out in the first leg of an important game like this.

WTF I already have €100 on BATE -1 and wanted to put another 100 after I lost today, but Bwin is limiting me to €45 saying I'm only allowed to win €250, W T F?!

I can bet on any other game even BATE straight win, but the -1 I'm not allowed to bet on it anymore, has this ever happened to anyone here??

one week gambling with Bet 365 and I reckon the majority of PP a/c holders would be converted.I changed over a few months back and I'm delighted with them.Still use PP but very little.

I had it on paddypower with a few bets before. There was a limit if I made the same bet twice. Did the handicap come in or is the game tmrw?

Strange cuz it's not the first time I've made the same bet twice and never had that problem before... For a moment I thought my account was limited so I'm glad it's just one game. The game's tomorrow.

Right, so looking at Heerenveen v AZ Alkmaar (I don't know why I was drawn to this game of all today's game... but anyway).

Finnbogason is an important player for Heerenveen. He is the top scorer for the team, the top scorer in the league, and #6 in running for the Golden Shoe. He scored 29 goal in 32 games. That is massive. He is however injured for this game. That's a big blow.

From what I can dig up, Ziyech seems to be promoted from sub to starter when when needed, and this seems like one of those times. He replaced Finnbogason at HT last game, and should be on from the start here. Also, Heerenveen should be attacking hard in this game, as they are 3 - 0 down on aggregate from the 1st leg.

Also, when Ziyech starts against AZ he usually scores.

The first game on that list the recent first leg of the playoffs - where is was brought on as a sub to replace injured Finnbogason. He did not score - but I feel the team was not organized the right way to help him score after having to be subbed on. The other two games, in which he started, were better suited to him, and the tactics going into the game were best to give him a chance to score - and he did twice in each. I think the same is possible today!

Also, and interesting tweet from Opta to show on active he was in 1st leg after getting subbed on - even if he did not score.

Ziyech Anytime @ 4.00 seems worthwhile to me - I even opened up a Unibet account to make the bet! Small bet on 2 or more @ 10.00 due to his history against AZ.

All season Finbogasson was on the penalties so when Ziyech took one in that 2-2 for the cup while Finbogasson was also on the pitch, it is a safe assumption if there is one today, he ll be on it.
He also had 1 or 2 free kicks going in this season.

Thanks inforfun. Great to hear that. Decided not to post this in Tips, as I did not follow the league close enough this year (so the bet is based only on stats, not personal knowledge). I do think the stats look great though, and good to hear there is a few other things in favor of him scoring other than the stats.

Gave this video a look, and I'm quickly becoming a big fan of his...

I just called Bwin and the guy said that since it's a small league and not many people bet on it, they limit the amount that people can win, how are they even allowed to do that? :mad:

No idea why, and stats point against it, and Brest have a bad lineup on attackers, but I am giving BTTS (Yes) @ 3.10 (Brest v Din. Minsk) due to the high odds
