Yesterday i wanted a 335i today i want an E46 M3, i wonder what i will want tomorrow

I have been infected with the Bimmer

Still for 10k or so, what else is out there with front engine rwd that isn't ancient, M3 you can allow one being 12 years old because of what it is i guess.

Wouldn't be gone on the E46 as such but the M3 is a modern classic in itself.

CSL bootlid 19 inch CSL wheels maybe an Eismann catback = heavenly

While I had the poor mans e46 I really liked it and could see the potential. I'd just like an m-spurt with a nice engine next. Maybe in the future

CH's are beautiful wheels, love them.
Thats a beautiful example, them bootlids are so nice the way they just swoop around.
Whoever designed them CSL bits needs to be let loose on a whole car and see what he (or she, but come on

) can do!

Beautiful alright. The CSL boot lid and smoked lights really modernize the back of an e46 imo.

New rad, 152 euro incl VAT.
New top hose for rad, 62 euro incl VAT.

That was money I was not expecting to have to spend this weekend, had planned on buying BBS CH reps for the car, with new tires...but now, I'll be DIYing a new rad.

What tyres were you going with ?

Matadors TV uses or maybe Goodyear assy 2's ? Got 4x 225/40/R18 bred ultracs for 420 from cam skill. Good tyre but not not a patch on the good years which would only have been 90 more

Kumhos, 225 40 18, and 235 40 18. Wanted rainsports, but the place doing the wheels doesn't have them, only the kuhmos. Have them on the rear at the moment, and even though the thread isn't the best they grip well. Will be glad to be rid of the acceleras on the front!

If it's anything like the E39 rad it's a fairly easy change. Fiddliest part is removing the fan cowl!

Yeah, I've had the fan out about 6 months ago when I was replacing tensioners and belts, was easy. Only annoyance is dealing with all the coolant, when removing the hoses. Will have to get some rags or something.

Have a top hose from Murphy and Gunn 62 quid...sickening. New rad ordered, and the ould lad will pick it up later today. Gonna try and get out of work early and get moving. I should have it drained and out of the car quite quick, would be delighted if I had it done by this evening.

You probably get away with it coz you're on decent roads most of the time but reps are generally made from lighter / softer materials. I wouldn't spend €2 - €3k on a set of rims either but I would rather a good set of used than a set of reps.
