The letter could be a batch number. Or the 'E' could be French for 'nut', écrou. (Okay, it should be 'noix'.)

So, do they contain Nuts? I thought they made them out of a sweet blend of ferreros and a dash of rocher. Always loved the taste of rocher, it's like honey, only chocolatier.

I had to hold it so that the E was on the left hand side. OP what part of the circular wrapper was your N? I'm thinkin compass of some sort!

no, there was no N. I mostly know this because they didn't have the little brown wrapper around the foil so there would be no place to put an N if there was one. I found the carcass of todays roast chicken though.
