MG Roadster was an ideal British Police cruiser, the two-lane roads were narrow and often congested, so a nimble little car could play a useful part in a police fleet. Upon request, some of the Lancashire police vehicles were special equipped with forward-hinged doors for quick entry/exits. As one of less than 20 units produced for the Lancashire force, chassis number PA1902 is believed to be one of the last MG PAs delivered to the police constabulary of Lancashire, England.
