Following on from the trivial things that annoy you, I hope we can start a thread on trivial things that make you happy.

I love pushing the button for the lift and the doors open right away.

Being able to walk straight down an escalator or up it without people standing in the way.

Being bale to sail down the driving lane and use the passing lane without lane-hoggers or slow drivers.

A good thread on boards.ie

when the bus is there as soon as i arrive at the bus stop or train as soon as I arrive at the platform.

when the parking spot that I usually park in in the local shopping centre is free.

Getting a flash of the lights or a wave of the hand from a driver after I've done something nice for them like letting them out at traffic. Love feeling appreciated.

When i get home from a crappy day at work and open the front door and my wee dog goes mental.

When my girlfriend is sitting on the couch beside me with her legs over mine and i feel her legs twitch as she falls asleep. When she puts her ankle between my legs when we spoon as we fall asleep. I feel so content and love the fact that she is comfy enough to do this.
