Also, I don't know if it's my imagination or not, but it seems to me that our eggs are getting lighter over the years. Nowadays our eggs are fairly beige, but I seem to remember growing up that brown eggs were really very brown.

Compare for example the beige eggs in this lot with the very brown ones.
