I've decided to tax and drive the BX for another 3 months; the timing on the next car becoming available and this car selling isn't working out. Also, January isn't a good month for selling cars! It'll be up for sale against the end of April, so let me know if you're interested.

Looks well minded, no mention of test which could be a concern but has 6 months tax.

Surely haggle this into bangernomics money. Lot of car with the BMW diesel engine. Tax til end of month, long NCT.

Tax to July and test to september, great value if it's straight.

Short on test but a lot of luxury for sub 1k

I hear you, I'd love to keep it but I don't have indoor car storage at the moment and even at that, I don't like to see cars idle. We'll see, maybe I'll get a solution over the next 3 months, my brother fell in love with it when he saw it and he has a garage. Re. Star Wars, the styling was a big attraction for me. It also reminds me of Battlestar Galactica, see below.

I was considering this W124 Wagon at one point, until I worked out the power to weight ratio.

Almost twice that of the BX so it would have been a read downer to drive, with the car screaming for an engine transplant! The supply of decent 1 L bangers for a beginner seems to have dried up even though there was nearly one a day for a long time, should have jumped on that nice clean €450 red Fiesta a while ago with the long NCT and tax but I thought Id be spoiled for choice.

I saw this in Ballina, lad selling it had it up for 2650 not so long ago, i happened to be in a carpark and saw it being viewed. The guys viewing it didnt stay long looking at it. Id say its a wreck. Also, there are A Lot of people in Ballina selling POS cars with doctored mileage. I got stung myself a while ago. As a rule of thumb anymore, I wont look at a car unless the photos are taken outside the persons house/ in the driveway. It looks like they have something to hide if they dont want you to know where they live - IMO

Parkers reckon 31mpg that's for combined. You'd prob get better on more open roads but it's a big heavy car to be lugging around town.
