Right another annoying question..How does one set up a spawing beacon?

Battlefield is the First time ever playing any sort of game like this so learning every day basically..

You just gotta place it on the ground and that's it. Quick tip though, you always spawn aiming 90° to the LEFT when you use the beacon. So let's say you put the beacon down while looking North, you spawn looking West. Bear this in mind If you're planning on using it to get to roof tops

Looks like dice sorted some of the ****e out,was in about 5 maps last night lag free :O,and there even showing emblems now on your gun,vehicles etc. still need to sort out that 0% health issue though

hi guys. im a long time COD player but have gotten BF4 today for a bit of variety in my shooter gaming. im a good FPS player and i know i can adapt to the BF4 way quickly. im wondering if i can join a clan? i only got COD players on my friends list and im feeling lonely when i play BF4

Most the good weapons take a little while to unlock.

Guns like the Ace, Sar, Mk mod etc come out around rank 20-25

You can enable XP boosts to rank faster and unlock lots.

This is player appreciation month so you will get a free battle pack each day you play that might have some of the guns.

You should also focus on one class at a time and build it up then move to another.

Really depends on your set up,though i think the best balanced gun in the game is the sar-21,once you get it set up its a good gun,i think its the gun with the least amount of recoil

Yeah i can see that sometimes myself,when i was on the china rising maps i didn`t see my emblem at all,but on the likes of conquest i did,but not on all guns.

dont feel too rush to get rid of the ak 12 with the muzzle break and angled grip its a beast especially in operation locker

M416 is a great gun. You get it very early, and it's easy to use. The SAR-21s rate of fire is just too low for me, and as long as you tap fire, recoil isn't really a issue so you may as well go for the quicker firing guns. M416 also has a great reload time

I like the Sar and the AK 12 but the two ACE guns are quite powerful also.

Not to mention you're more likely to kill the opponent with them than a rpg in the face it seems lol

Its alright i got his tags last night!

Some great matches over the last few days lads, really enjoying the game now since they have fixed most of the bugs that were ruining the game, its still not perfect but its getting better. At least now it feels somewhat balanced whereas before it was very frustrating, still get the odd hiccup here and the 0% health kill is probably my major gripe but the game is ruining a lot smoother and feels more balanced. Its also cool to see the server half filled with IRL tags.

For those newcomers such as Marky who are finding it hard to learn some of the aspects of the games, there are some brilliant BF4 channels out there where you can get excellent tips and hints at how to play the game and make you a much better player,even their videos on Bf3 are useful. Xfactorgaming and Levelcap are probably the two best known, but there are tons of other channels. Xfactor has some excellent videos on how to use tanks and vehicles correctly and Levelcap is brilliant for reviewing each and every gun and telling you what ones to use and what setup to run with. If you watch their vids and try to put into practise what they teach you will improve no end.

On that note, does that mean I have to buy the China Rising DLC? I got it as a preorder bonus for the PS3, but it's asking me to pay for it this time.

I have no doubt you will lad. Those vids are just some of the many ones that jackfrags and others have that helped me. In one of those is where i learned that Slams float and can be placed in rivers to sink boats, easy kills....very useful on Hainan resort, flood zone and paracel storm.

did you get an activation key in the box? If you cant find it then i wouldnt bother just buying it on its own to be honest, the maps arent the greatest.
You could go for the premium bundle when Second Assault comes out as it may be cheaper in the long run, there are loads of premium only goodies this month for player appreciation month such as shortcut unlocks to DMR's and shotguns and there is a 2nd doublexp event this month aswell for premium only.

I may be wrong and feel free to correct me, but as far as I know, unless you got BF4 premium for the PS3 the codes to unlock China Rising don't transfer over to next gen.
This is a quote I found online "There are two conditions of getting the China Rising Expansion. 1-Customers should have pre-ordered Battlefield 4 for their Next Gen Console at full retail price… OR… 2- Customers should have purchased Battlefield 4 Premium for either their Gen 3 or Gen 4 Console"
