You have it in one, it looks like 'I choose to drive this car', rather than 'this is all I could afford'. For this reason, most of my cars have been cheap but cool looking BMWs: E34s, E30, E21. Next one is an E36 Touring. All of these cars look much more than they cost, the BX being no exception.

I researched this model though and it seems to actually have a 2.6 litre v6, although cartell has it as a 2.4 so you're definitely getting 2.4 tax. Short NCT is a pity but it looks clean enough, it could make for a nice and practical comfy cruiser.

It is a 2.4. You're confused with the later generation cars badged as 240 that had the 2.6l engine

Nice car, but If I were to pay anywhere near the full asking price, I'd want a new NCT with it tbh...

Dunno Ray. Maybe the owner is just being realistic. Very few people in the market for a 9 year old 2.2l petrol engined car with nearly 300k km on it...

That e46 coupe is too good to be true imo

high mileage indeed but it's a fairly high spec model compared to most and it has a full service history and recent NCT

it should be going for 3k plus, regardless of being a 2.2 petrol

at that mileage it has probably had a lot of the major work done anyway

(if someone went to see it and it checked out it's a great bargain!)

If you do a donedeal search for 2.2 e46 petrol coupes 2004-2005 there is only one for sale for less than 3500.

If someone bought that for 1850-1900 then they got a very good deal.
