Just bought BF4 and the upgrade there.

Regarding the file size of the upgrade:

"it will download 6 gigs first so u can play the campaign only. the rest gets downloaded and installed separate. almost 2 hours for me and the campaign is ready but only 31% of the full game."

Its the video bitrate thats crap with the ps4 recorded footage, nothing to do with the res. i think its something like 5mbps @ 1080p. Which is a crap bitrate to capture at. I got a gamecapture HD that records at 12mbps i picked up afew years back, and thats just about decent quality. but 5mbps is brutal. imo.

When i shared footage on FB the quality was poor too but down in the right hand corner there is a HD symbol which when pressed sorted that out. That's on the iPad btw so may not be the same on a PC.

the quality is ok when you take if off Facebook, but the bitrate could be higher and the ability to upload directly to Youtube would be nice.

Happened to me once, had to hard reboot.

I posted about this a while back now I have deleted Netflix off my PS4, also while playing BF4 my PS4 hard reset itself twice into safe mode but has not happened since.

I'm getting residue on my PS4 discs (which I initially thought were scratches) the residue is so stubborn to remove I ended up badly scratching one of my games. Not sure if the residue is a sign of something sinister internally or something harmless. Probably something I should address with Sony while on the warranty LOL.

To be honest I'm far more concerned that my headset still doesn't work.

We haven't heard anything on a patch yet and we're mid way through January.

Happened to me a few weeks back. Installed Marvel Lego and anytime I launched it on my main profile, it would crash with that error. Re-installed it, no luck. So I had to delete my profile and re-create it. What was annoying was I couldn't even back up my saved data to the cloud because of the issue, so had to do it locally (which you can't do for trophies).

I have the ps3 back under the tv just for Netflix as it got very annoying when it crashed on ps4

The "tombraider definitive edition" will run at 60fps/1080p on PS4... releases in a week or 2.
