If I may be so bold as to start a new thread.

What are peoples plans/strategy for this in Jan?

Is it best to get it done early to try to gain ground and value or wait a while and see if there are any nice new signings about provided your team is on midline shape?

When is generally best for price rises? Do the majority of casual players go on jan 1 and the prices go crazy or is it evenly spread over the month? It's a 10 day GW at the start too, although so is the last week of the month.

Finally, how the hell do we not end up all with the exact same team, or 90% the same at least?

First time playing so interested but I'm sure the discussion would be of interest to all.

Midfield looks a little weak to me. Downgrade Terry, upgrade Sterling. You have no Arsenal defensive cover which is a must imo.

Sturridge up to 88%, if rises tonight will give me a 0.1 profit. Question, keep or sell for Adebayor before the 11.30am deadline.

If does not rise think I will keep for at least this GW, although will mean will have him, Suarez, along with Aguero up front, plus Sterling in the midfeild.

Thats been my plan all along. Price rises etc not working out too bad for me so happy enough.

10 day gameweek, only a few days of transfer window left then. Plus the slight advantage of knowing team lineups before finalising team Tuesday week.

Edit. May reconsider this tomorrow night yet and save it till the last week....

Going with this and not going to look back, closing down the page now so wont be making any changes. I know the GK situation isnt great but very happy with the rest of the team and Adrian could turn out to be quite the differential if he holds on to the #1 shirt.

To be honest I don't think that effects his returns much at all. Gerrard is purely about set pieces in fantasy these days and the odd pass up to Suarez.

I don't think he's a great option anyway but I wouldn't read too much into those comments.

i'm the same, trying my best to save my wc until after the deadline closes tomorrow but seeing teams on here also puts me under pressure. at this stage though i'll leave it, i'm already after missing out on rises for players i wanted to bring in including aguero and chester and hopefully over the 10 days for the next gw ramsey will be back.

chambers to clyne and oviedo to jedinak dont have players in your wildcard team that dont play.

Have been exceptionally lucky so far with prices. Most of the risers I have in my team, most that I see myself bringing in not risen too much. Huddlestone going up tonight is the icing on the cake, brought him in for Ravel 2 weeks ago to hold me till WC and hoped he just might rise 0.2 but didn't think he really would!

Well guys, after a week of changes, what do we think? Finally got my profit on Sturridge last night, but has been sold to make way for Adebayor, not sure of Sterlings place in the team any more with the Sturridge, so he to has gone. Awaiting Ramseys return, so Whilshire is my Arsenal cover till then, Turner is gone to since reading he is out, so changed for Williamson. Did not want to Newcastle players between keeper and defence, so Krul is gone for Boruc. All this with 1.0 in the bank.

Phew.

Sterling back in dispite concerns for Whilshire. Giroud is the new Arsenal cover, he replaces Adebayor. Bank drops to 0.9.

minor issue if you are going with the 2nd option pick davis 2nd choice over gazz 3rd choice keeper. He is also .2 cheaper.

You really are wasting that money on Luiz, he might play this week as Matic won't but after that he's gonna play about one in four in the league. If you don't want or can't afford Terry then Cahill or Azpilacueta seem much better options.
