I've come to the conclusion that my biggest flaw when it comes to this game is to not go for the "hipster" choice in the hope that it pays off.

On top of this anomaly Silva is cheaper. I know that people are emotionally invested in Ya Ya but Silva is a much more attacking player and will get more points imo.

There is quite a big flaw in your reasoning though. You CANNOT scientifically compare 996 min vs 1755 ! It's almost a 1 to 2 ratio. Silva's ppm ratio is 0.073 while Yaya is 0.070. Yet Yaya played almost twice as much. I don't think you can use these figures in favour of Siva. In fairness, they play for Yaya to me. I think the main point to support your case is that Yaya is currently walking a tightrope physically speaking while Silva is a lot more fresher. That can (has to?) play in his advantage over the second part of the season alright.

The best punt I see for a differential is to go for the trinity of RVP, Suarez and Aguero and really make that team value work for me. I believe I can do it without to much compromise elsewhere. I know I said I'd shut up about it but I'm thinking about it all week, keep getting an idea on a possible combination of players and having to immediately log on to FPL and try it out! And I don't intend wild carding till next week!! My latest wheeze is below, is hipster or square? Edit. Lallana could be Eriksen or Rambo. Azpil could be Nastasic or Chiriches maybe if he loses his place. The whole thing can revert to pretty much my non RVP team with RVP to Ade and Januzaj to Ozil for example. I'm also sacrificing a rotation partner for Boruc.

I assume you are playing your wildcard meaning you have till Saturday morning 11.30am to make unlimited changes so no need to rush. Allot could happen tonight and on Wednesday night league cup matches, plus rise rises and falls as well. I'm even considering bringing in Sturridge tonight as rising, in thr hope he might rise again before Aguero does, just to make a 0.1 profit and sell him again before the deadline as was 0.3 short on my desired targets.

Interestingly, Christian Benteke's goal was his fifth goal in 16 matches, the same number of goals he scored in his first 16 matches last season. He then scored 14 goals in his last 18 matches to finish the season with 19. So maybe he's just coming into season now?
