Gameweek 21 Transfers

We have a whole 10 days to wait until the football is back, but I would imagine a lot will use their wildcards this week which could make prices fluctuate a lot.

I'll be holding off on my transfer but barring injury I'll be doing Nasri out for Silva. Will then likely play the same 11 I fielded this week.

Chris Hughton has ruled Mickey Turner out for the weekend. No sign of Howson returning soon either. However Alex Tettey may be back very soon, next week, which would benefit Fer and Howson when he returns by being able to do the dirty work.

I'd like to think he will be, just to see his price even. I wouldn't expect more than an appearance off the bench at best but I have my eye on him.

I think im going to go boruc and davis 8.6million. Boruc could be back this weekend, this combo served me very well until boruc got injured. Reading on ffs they reckon southampton have the best fixtures for the next 10 gws.

Will his CP have to drop to 7.0, or 6.9 for his SP to drop. I'm thinking 6.9, but little part of my brain giving me doubts.

A drop to 7 would keep his selling price the same, a drop to 6.9 would reduce it to 6.7 for you.

I'd say alot of people will have players doubtful this weekend so I wouldn't worry.

I have Cabaye, Rooney and Mutch. I transferred out Walcott.

This Sunderland gk news has thrown a major spanner in the works, just brought Mannone in with my wildcard, I can still change it, its a shame though, the Mannone/Marshall axis looked so promising.

I've been cursed with keepers this year, brought Mignolet in with my wildcard for gw4 and he got me one clean sheet over 12 games, then went for Howard for the next 5 gameweeks (Ful H, Swa A, Sun H, Sou H, Sto A) who earned me a grand total of 6 points. I'm sure many others have suffered a similar plight but it doesn't make it any less frustrating

I can beat that! Had Mignolet like you and brought in McGregor during my WC as my sub keeper to take advantage of the good rotation between Liverpool & Hull. First game I had planned on using him for was GW10 as they faced Sunderland and Liverpool faced Arsenal. Of course he goes and gets injured before the game and Hull keep a clean sheet! Worse still, owners of 'non-playing sub keeper' Harper got ridiculously lucky and bagged 8 points from someone who shouldn't even have been on the pitch! Then I subbed out Mignolet for Howard as Liverpool couldn't keep a clean sheet to save their life, and Everton looked solid at the back. Liverpool faced Spurs away and Everton faced mis-firing Fulham at home. Yep, clean sheet for Mig, nothing for Howard. And Mig has since kept another clean sheet while Howard has pulled in a massive 6 points in 5 games.

The final straw in this goalkeeper horror story - I held on to McGregor until he went off injured against United in GW18. The same week Howard got sent off for me... so I was facing no goalkeeper. All reports said McGregor was highly unlikely to make it back for GW19, so I brought in Mannone at a -4 point hit so I could at least field a keeper. Yep, McGregor plays and keeps a clean sheet and Mannone concedes! I can look back at plenty of moves I've done this season (not getting Ramsey for one...) and say it was bad decision making, but the above is just an example of how luck can f**k you over in this game! Luckily a huge number of people stuck with Mig so it's only cost me about 15 points. If I was in the same position again I'd make the exact same transfers.

I'll be dumping Howard in the WC for Marshall - two cheap keepers is the way to go! I won't expect clean sheets from them so any are a bonus...

What are Rooneys prospects of palying? Thinking of taking a hit for Negredo in. Ive already transferred Walcott for Cazorla.
