Something I've noticed about alot of Argos so called bargains is they are not bargains at all. If you follow the link on all the bargains posted so far, you'll notice the asterix next to the price. At the end you'll see a previous selling price. Gimmicks if you ask me

Don't see how something at half the original asking price isn't a bargain, even if at some stage it may have been offered at a reduced price too.

It'd be unfair to always expect Argos to be the cheapest as retail doesn't work that way. They do a great job having a physical presence in convenient locations.

While they may not be bargains as such their Value and Cookworks range offer some tremendous products for very little money.

Argos Value Blender - €5.49
I fully expected this to be awful but it's brilliant. I use it to blend lots of veg to make soup. It may not have lots of options but what it does, it does extremely well.
