Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

messing around with the bikes this afternoon, swapping around wheels and stuff to get the tri bike ready for turbo duty. Decided to take a few snaps. Excuse the deep wheels appearing on both bikes, i hadn't put them on the road bike before and wanted to see how they looked.

Road Bike: Rose CRS3100, Full Carbon, Ultegra Di2.

travelling last week so missed this, apologies, but no, no road racing. thought about giving a4 a bash to see how i would get on, but i'd need a lot of training and would need to focus on it for a year and don;t want to give up the other sports.

plus, i'm not the most risk adverse, so i'm likely to end up in every crash there is, so even if i was racing don;t know if i'd be risking that bike as i'd be guaranteed to smash it up, reckon i;d pick up a cheap thrasher and just not worry about it

Cheers EC. Self build but NOT self assembled! Everything is new except the saddle. Mainly Slane Cycles (keep an eye out for their sales, they are unbelievable!) and bike24.de. First outing will be Ballinrobe Duathlon on Saturday.

will you use the cosmics this time of year or something you'll have to worry less about replacing?

They will be used for racing only, my old training wheels for training. Those Mavics are very wide, it seems all new aero wheels are going down that route, it means that I've only 1mm clearance from the brake pads until they are worn a bit!

Just FYI- they're doing a recall on aerobars which might or might not apply to yours.

New ride! I still have to get a fit, but the reach is much better on this Fuji D6 than my old bike. The chainrings are O-symetrics, very strange at first but I really liked 'em.

Yes and no they have rebrand all there frames with avenger .. New website and spent quite a lot in marketing .. They have a team using there bikes etc..
The frame has integrated front brakes into the fork.. Rear mounted brakes under the chain stay covered. No cable are showing anywhere on the frame .. Integrated stem .. Loads of really nice features .. And light and fast...

Heres my old racer converted to tri (at a freezing winter duathlon near Naas a few years back). Hence the Bear Grylls mitts on the ground. Looks better without the aerobars if im honest.

Meant to post this when I got it - bought last August and it has served me well over the winter and spring. Orbea Orca Silver. Apologies if file size is huge.
