Just bought BF4 and the upgrade there.

Regarding the file size of the upgrade:

"it will download 6 gigs first so u can play the campaign only. the rest gets downloaded and installed separate. almost 2 hours for me and the campaign is ready but only 31% of the full game."

Now that I think about it NBA was quite slow.

Im reading up man and it should only take like 1/2 hour from what I'm reading. But it shouldnt be anything to do with the internet right as the game is fully downloaded ?. Going to plug it directly into the wall anyway and see if it makes a difference

Nope I had PS3 version of NBA and Battlefield , download of the game itself was fine , but then the game launches and allows you access to quick game for NBA or Campaign for Battlefield while it installs. NBA was on 16% at bout half 2/3. On 19% now. Why is the install so slow ?

I had to go wired(power plugs) as it was ridicolous, downloading in kbps and loads of disconnects.
PS3 sitting beside it and was working fine.

Worked, but the dirty feckers charged me €14.99 for the upgrade. Still, savings and all.

PS3 version was 8gb in size, this one is 41gb!

I know a few here traded in the games like killzone from bundles which had the not to be sold separately mark on them. Can anyone tell me if smyths are still offering the best value on these? The game is still sealed and iv no interest in killzone. Cheers!

Bit worried as while I'm no trophy/achievement whore if I get one I'd like to keep it and the trophies for the PS4 seem to be fully PSN reliant (can't even look what I have without a connection), I got the notification that I did get a few but as PSN is down I have no idea what they're for or assurance that I'll keep them.

go to settings, psn, restore licences. That should sort you, also make sure you have avtivate as your primary ps4 selected.

Wondering if anyone can help me. Have signed up to the psn+ free trial and iv downloaded resogun and war thunder. When I go to start either of them I get the following message - "The PS4 is not connected to the internet and cannot verify the license for the application"

Iv tested the connection and everything is ok. Anyone gots any ideas?
