A few sites are speculating that Sony will be announcing the successor to the PS3 at the press event 'Destination Playstation' on February 25.

I figure it's probably a long shot but didn't they do something similar with the announcement of the Vita at a separate event? Personally, I think it would make perfect sense to get excitement going now about their new console so that when E3 rolls around they can spend the entire show promoting upcoming games.

I edited my previous post.
I bought it on PS3 a short while ago and then upgraded to PS4 version.
The upgrade file size is only 6.4GB, whereas full game file size is 34GB.

It's probably already been discussed but only see it now. I just put Black Flag into the PS4, Really loud hum from the PS4. Game installed and the hum died down. As I was looking for the Account location to redeem the codes, the hum starts back up and has been on since, not even playing the game. This didn't happen with Killzone at all, anyone else get this?

EDIT: Also, how do you pause downloads, I saw someone mentioned it recently. I go to notifications, downloads, press the Option button but I can only delete a download. I updated to the newest firmware.

Not sure. In the comments section of the latest PSN sale here, Chris The content manager said this as a response:

March, and no. You'd need to buy the PS3 version off the website PSN store rather than the PS4 store.

I wasn't trying to be a smartarse, sorry if that's the way it came across. Some of the games already out look great. Battlefield on PS4 looks a world apart from the PS3 version. There's a map called Paracel Storm that gave me a bit of a "so this is next gen" kind of feeling.

Saying that it's just a lick of paint upgrade is selling it a bit short IMO. It's just so much smoother and vivid, much more happening on screen, no bushes and trees appearing in front of you as you cross the terrain because the system can't deal with it and has to pop them in as you go along. 64 player lobbies.
That's pretty much what I was hoping for from next gen. There's only so far you can go graphically, there could never be anything like the leap from say PS2 to PS3.

If you are talking graphics and exclusives solely then I would say Infamous, Driveclub and The Order: 1886 are the most obvious.

Infamous is out in March, Driveclub should be something relatively similar and the Order is out sometime in Q3 or Q4 next year.
