Because there is 5 times as many people interested so they had to increase the standards to whittle down the numbers

Bit of a fuss made about gardai with poor irish earlier in the year and that a garda had to arrest someone and bring them back to the station just to find out who they were because they couldn't understand irish, it is a statutory right, maybe they think foundation isn't sufficient enough, especially with all this fluent caper.

yes mate i think you should be ok there. your level 6 should be suitable. the not having languages won't affect you.

Age can't increase. U have to retire at 65. Or earlier if u have completed 30 years service
