Rang the fella, he said he has it for a month now and he needs cash for college? When I asked can it be seen, he said he has someone coming in to see tomorrow morning, so I can see after him. Which to me sounds like a genuine guy, I mean if there was something wrong you would be in a hurry to get rid of it.

Could be genuine but after reading a thread on here where a guy bought a stolen car I'd be even more cautious with the purchases.
Although it is relatively speaking a low amount of money.

There not great, but there comfortable enough and the 1.6 8v is a decent engine. Not quick or anything but good low end and alot more reliable the 1.4 16v in the golf.

That laguna has 14 months NCT, much higher spec, some tax, lower mileage and it's an 05 for the same money.
