Great morning here, tractor decided to take off and ran into feed bin.
First pic was where tractor was parked handbrake was on and wheels facing up the hill
Second pic is where it ended up still dont know how it happened lucky it didnt end up in through the milking parlour our into the esb pole all the same was in washing the bulk tank at the time.

No the tractor and loaders perfect, only bought it 3 weeks ago of a new holland main dealer payed well over the odds for it on the condition that it was left 100% right, will be a interesting phone call made after lunch.
Going to be a good one trying to explain what happened to the insurance, the grab on the front saved the tractor it took all the impact.

My neighbour has me cleaned out of beestings. He had a pure bred lim heifer calve down yesterday with twins and not a drop of milk in her, he's giving her maize and a high protein ration but no milk yet. Took 10 litres off me yesterday. For all the beestings we freeze we never actually use it , neighbours usually need it more

Fair play jersey, I think there is a dairy farmer doing the same thing in every village.

Did it for long enough. Two dairy lads near here have freezers out in the shed. Freeze the beestings in plastic bottles. But f**k it if a cow, be her purebred or commercial can't rear her own calf without the farmer's intervention... GEATA.. and quick!! Dairy beestings are OK of you are stuck, but not as good a quality as from the beef cow herself. Then if you don't thaw out right, you can destroy all the antibodies and you might as well be giving tea to the calf.

Thank Christ we have nothing calving here anymore!

it's a heifer with twins , give her a chance

we always have a stock in the freezer for neighbours and even use on our lambs if the case arises

I think a lot more have lived by getting dairy colostrum than not getting

I like my cup of barry's tae but it's worth sfa to a new born calf or lamb
