Just wondering where boardies are going to get their PS4's? Are they going to buy it online? Buy it from the likes of Gamestop/Smyths/HMV/Xtravision? Or going Amazon/other online retailers?

Can anyone please help me with some info. i have no pre orders for ps4 at all and was planning to pick one up on friday morn at argos but now they say they dont even know if they are getting them in. has anyone got any clarification on argos getting ps4s for release?

Anyone who is having issues with their Amazon order, in my experience, getting them to phone you is the best way to get answers as their CS by both email and live chat goes around in circles and you get passed on to people who seem to copy and paste the same old shte.

After about five live chats and 10 useless bog-standard emails, talking to someone on the phone got me the update requested within a day.

Got a call from my local Gamestop earlier in the evening and surprisingly, they said I could switch to a bundle. Went with the Killzone bundle since it'll work out cheaper! Thought those bundles would have been well gone by now.

Not that it makes much difference.. but my Amazon order changed from Est delivery 3rd / 4th Dec to ---Monday 2 Dec 2013 - Tuesday 3 Dec 2013

I picked 2 day delivery to ireland (Amazon.co.uk) and it says 29 Nov - 30 Nov.

I think they are going to use UPS (all my orders from Amazon were handled by UPS)... does UPS deliver on Saturday ...

Not the end of the world if I have to wait until Monday, but I've free weekend and assassin's creed 4 disc already waiting to be used

Depends when UPS get there hands on it......if it's in Ireland by the early hours of Friday, then a same day delivery is likely. Any delay, as was seen with the Xbox orders, and you may be out of luck.
Saturday delivery is not standard though, even the late MS Store Xbox orders were mostly handled by contract couriers/OT after the complete balls-up last week.
Really depends on when Amazon get them out........you'd think overseas deliveries should get sent out late Weds in these cases, so as to allow for a somewhat leisurely Friday deadline, but considering the amount of orders Amazon have to plough through, logical ideas like that are never really factored in.

I was going to ask the same thing. My understanding was that they didn't do saturday delivery normally but i'm paying £20 sterling for next day delivery so thats what i'll be looking for. I've a free weekend this weekend the other half is away so i really want this friday with no distractions ha.

If i dont get mine until Monday i'll be getting onto amazon demanding £20 credit for my failed next day delivery

GameStop couldn't take money from my card on Monday and emailed me that I urgently needed to address the issue. I rang them yesterday and asked them to retry taking the money, they did and the money has now been authorised/is on hold on my account.

Hoping it's a repeat of the xbox one situation where people got them on the Thursday...

Although I'll have no games til Friday! Ha

I payed £20 aswell but the delivery says 1-2 days so it could end up being Monday but over in the xbox thread a few people said they recieved it Friday so fingers crossed

The vast majority of consoles they have are bundles, it is not surprising they are offering you one, they want as many people as possible to upgrade, if everyone took the solus consoles they would not have enough stock.

It has my "estimated" delivery as between 29th - 30th so if we don't get it until monday (which is the 2nd) i think we have a case. Otherwise i'd just do free shipping probably get it on the tuesday without having to pay a cent extra.

Fingers crossed we do get it friday but things never go that smoothly :eek:

I just called the number for Gamestop online and I was told that the payments will come out this afternoon or tomorrow. Shipments going out tomorrow for delivery on Friday.
I was told they'd call me if they had a problem with payment.
